Renaissance Church with Cloister & Miraculous Icon
Dedicated to Our Lady of Peace, this church was constructed in the 15th Century after a miraculous icon started to bleed after it was struck by a man who was intoxicated. It was comissioned by Pope Sixtus IV in 1480.
Next to the convent in the Chiostro di Bramante, which he designed in the year 1500 for the adjacent convent. Today, this cloister is home to a museum and a bar for coffee and other beverages.
